NUMBER ONE

In a landmark development of major importance, Everest Plastic Industries of Mangalore have been Registered by the State Pollution Control Board as the very first Licensed manufacturer of bio-degradable plastic in India under a new Directive. Everest Plastic Industries, one of the oldest established plastic manufacturers in South India (1965) have been pioneers in the manufacture, use and promotion of bio-degradable plastics, and are dedicated to promoting the use of oxo-biodegradable plastic products through the application of the d2w range of additives.

Everest use only d2w additives in the production of all their plastic film and supply some of the largest and most influential Corporate and Multi-national names in India, thereby with such an endorsement, d2w is placed at the forefront of all oxo-biodegradable additives used in India.

Luibeg are delighted with this further significant news and will post an extensive report in due course, along with further major news relating to this breakthrough. In the meantime, the new Register will pave the way for all manufacturers to become licensed as environmentally friendly manufacturers of bio-degradable plastics. Currently there are over 500 recognized manufacturers in the State of Karnataka, 295 of whom are specifically manufacturing bags.
